Under $57.4M contract, Indian firm sends its diving support vessel to Middle East

India’s Seamec Limited has entered into a charter hire with a Saudi Arabian company under which its multipurpose diving support vessel (DSV) will be deployed in the Middle East.

Seamec entered into a Bimco charter party with Safeen Al Behar Limited Company, Saudi Arabia, for the charter hire of Seamec Swordfish for work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The charter hire will be for a firm period of 730 days with the option for extension on mutually agreed terms. It is set to commence between March 1 and March 30.

The total value for the firm period is $57.40 million
