A new UN-affiliated training centre is set to open at the University of Surrey.
The international centre, due to open on Monday, will be focused on sharing knowledge and providing training with the aim of improving the UK’s ability to address climate change.
The centre will develop sustainable economic practices to help advance the UN’s 17 sustainable development goals which include affordable and clean energy, reduced inequalities and no poverty, said a university spokesperson.
